My recent stay at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Hilton Hawaiian Village was mostly enjoyable, with spacious accommodations and beautiful lagoon views that added to the experience. However, there were some service hiccups, like not having enough linens upon check-in and a lack of timely responses from staff on certain requests. Overall, the resort’s amenities and location near many attractions made for a fantastic getaway despite these minor issues.

Rooms
8.0
The two-bedroom suite was spacious and perfect for my family, with beautiful views of the lagoon and ocean from the balconies. However, the bedding situation was a bit inconvenient when we arrived, as we had to ask for linens for the fold-out sofa bed.
Service
6.0
While the staff was friendly and helpful overall, I did experience a delay in getting assistance for linens and a lack of prompt communication when I tried reaching out for questions.
Location
9.0
The resort's location was stellar; it was within walking distance to local shops and attractions, adding convenience to our stay.
Dining
7.0
There were numerous on-site dining options that offered a great variety; however, I did find some dining prices a bit steep.
Facilities
8.0
The resort had ample facilities, including multiple beautiful pools and easy access to water sports. The landscape was also well-maintained and inviting, though the parking fees could be a drawback.

I had a great week at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club At Hilton Hawaiian Village, especially for my family relaxing right on Waikiki Beach. The ocean views were amazing, but I did find the room a bit dated and not as clean as I hoped. Plus, the heavy sales push for timeshare presentations was kinda annoying. Overall, it was a nice trip with lots of family-friendly activities to enjoy.

Rooms
6.0
We stayed in the Lagoon Tower, which was spacious for our family. However, the room felt outdated and had some cleanliness issues, such as dust on surfaces and rips in the bedsheets. I'd recommend they update the furnishings to match the beach vibe.
Service
7.0
Most staff were friendly and accommodating, they even helped us with getting a crib and our bags to our room. However, the daily sales pitch for presentations was pretty intrusive and took away from the experience.
Location
9.0
The resort’s location was prime, right next to the beautiful beach with tons of shops and restaurants within walking distance, making it perfect for family outings.
Dining
7.0
Dining options on-site were good, especially the poke bowl at Tropics Grill. I appreciated that we could easily grab meals close by, but prices were a little hefty, like $50 for an hour on a pedal boat.
Facilities
6.0
The resort had beautiful grounds and multiple pools, but they tended to be overcrowded, and I had a hard time with room cleaning service since I had to request it in advance and still faced issues.

5.6/10

My stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village was overall enjoyable, with its amazing landscape and abundance of activities making it a top choice. The location is absolutely prime, right by Waikiki, with various shops and restaurants nearby. however, the high costs associated with dining and parking on-site can be challenging. While the resort had beautiful accommodations, the ongoing staff strike during my visit brought some inconveniences that affected my experience considerably.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and clean, featuring a lovely view of the lagoon. The layout provided comfort for family gatherings, though I did face issues with cleanliness due to the strike.
Service
6.0
I found the staff to be generally friendly and helpful, though their effectiveness was hindered by the strike activities. Often, I struggled to get in touch with necessary services when I needed them.
Location
10.0
The location is simply unbeatable, offering convenient access to shops, restaurants, and the beautiful beach. It made exploring the area much easier for me during my stay.
Dining
7.0
Dining options on-site were plentiful but quite pricey, with a family breakfast costing a small fortune. I opted for restaurants outside the resort for better value, as many services were disrupted during the strike.
Facilities
7.0
The resort had fantastic facilities, with multiple pools and organized activities for families. However, the strike negatively impacted services like housekeeping and food availability at the pools.

My stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village was a mix of highs and lows. While the Lagoon Tower offered a gorgeous setting and stunning views, I was disappointed with some aspects of the room's condition and limited kitchen space. The staff were friendly and accommodating, though the ongoing strike created quite a disruptive atmosphere during my time there.

Rooms
